What's causing the glitch is the Android system webview. I just uninstalled the recent update and guess what, I can use the back button again when browsing in this great app. Thank goodness because it was ruining my experience and I thought it was just a glitch in the app. Inbrowser customer support even said that Google is going to update Android webview app in late January. I would wait to update it until then but if you want to use the back button like before, uninstall Android system webview. I'm satisfied
This app was working great till a few days ago. It would let me use the back button while the app was open to go back a page like a normal browser. Now when ever the back button is pressed, it resets the page as if I pressed exit. Please fix and rating will go up.
UPDATE: 12/30 - read the bug/issue notes but still this app is unusable. Have removed this app and started using Incognito Mode in Google Chrome. If/when this issue gets fixed maybe I'll reinstall the InBrowser. This BACK button issue makes this app useless. Do the other versions of Inbrowser also have this issue? (Beta and the 2018 version)
A simple direct browser with little fanfare. Only real problem is trying to download images and make them useful outside of this app is clunky as hell at best and useless at worst. If this app had bookmarks it would be my only browser.
There is no way to block or deactivate cookies, not even those from third-party vendors. Advertising can't be blocked either. But apart from that, the browser does what it promises. It is therefore useless for people who want to protect themselves against TRACKING, VIRUSES, MALEWARE, etc. Quote from InBrowser Team means:" No first or third party ads or trackers are bundled in the app. Your information is secure from leakage." and "No junk, no ads, ..." THIS is absolutely wrong.
Total fail, no backup icon. Have to start search from beginning. Uninstalling unless there is something i missed.
