About this app

TopLogger is a FREE app to log your indoor climbs, see what you topped, and what is yet to be done. It gives you that extra incentive to tick them all, whether it's boulders, routes or both.

Why use TopLogger:

• TOPPING MATTERS: Climbing a route or topping a boulder influences your dashboard, showing a listing of your progress, your strength, your grade, and optionally your ranking in the gym.

• UPDATES ABOUT NEW CLIMBS: select which gyms and what grades you want to be notified about. Check out the new boulder circuits or routes in your gym, and see whats next to be removed.

• INTUITIVE INTERFACE: TopLogger follows the latest design guidelines, offering an interactive map-view of the climbing gym with intuitive interface. Easily switch to list view to show the boulders grouped by circuit. Ticking climbs has never been easier.

• EXTENSIVE FILTERS: Filter the climbs to your need, and make it a personal tick-list. Filter on grade, color, whether you climbed it, suitability for kids, specific circuits or walls.

[Edit 2025-02-28: I do not get errors anymore and it's not unbearable slow anymore. It's still slow though compared with the previous version. And needing to click explicitly to save your log is very unintuitive.] I like the update, but it's extremely slow and getting 50% of the attempts to log something an error (not all the same). Some of them are time-outs. Others are just plain errors. It's unbearable to log unfortunately.

It was okay a few months ago. CURRENTLY though it is terrible. since the update, it runs SUPER slow, takes a good few seconds to register a click and load a climb then another few seconds to register the top and then it has to load for a bit before you close it. (And heavens forbid you try to perform any action before it finished loading because then the app just breaks) So you easily spend about 10 seconds on average just trying to log a climb. This is the CORE function, horrible experience.

Update: Developer fixed all points below 🙏 17/10/24: Nice to see my local gym on it. I like seeing the French grades. UI is ok. Dashboard could be improved. "Last in, first out" doesn't bring anything useful. One big feature I'm really missing is a friends list. Would be awesome to have a tab to check out friends, see what they recently climbed and maybe a mini-competition with friends only. Now I have to search for them in the general ranking of the club, but that's quite a list.😅
