The IWA OutdoorClassics app offers functions, which require special access rights. You can for example save presentation dates in the smartphone's calendar, which requires access to the calendar. In addition, the app contains a car finder. In order to use this funtion via Google Maps, the Google service configurations must me read by the app. ACCESS to SD card contents is essential, because within the app you can take photos of the parked car (e.g. when there is no GPS signal in a multi-story parking lot). Moreover, location-based messages are sent on site at the exhibition centre via Bluetooth.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
