The loss of our heritage buildings and places as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes changed Christchurch forever. The sense of loss has created a desire to remember and to capture our memories and stories of this place. It has also raised awareness of the importance of retaining our remaining built heritage as being vital to the district’s identity.
