It's like having the bank in your pocket. The ASB Mobile Banking app is loaded with smart features. Whether it’s quick access to balances, paying a friend back or temporarily locking your Visa card when you’ve misplaced your wallet, ASB’s Mobile app has it all. Great features include:


• Receive real-time security alerts about activity on your accounts and cards
• Securely access your account with a PIN code or biometric data (i.e., fingerprint or face recognition on supported devices)
• Conveniently complete two-step verification for FastNet Classic or when calling us with just a tap in the app
• Reset your ASB login password


• Create, edit, and delete one-off and automatic payments
• Pay to an account, saved person or company, Inland Revenue, mobile number, email, or Trade Me seller
• Manage your payees
• Transfer money directly to your ASB KiwiSaver Scheme or ASB Investment Fund
• Set your default account for payments


• Apply for an ASB Visa credit card or Visa Debit card
• Change your credit card type
• Apply for a credit card balance transfer
• Set up or change your card PIN
• Temporarily lock your card if you lose it
• Cancel and replace your ASB Visa credit card or Visa Debit card

To use the ASB Mobile app, you need to be registered for ASB FastNet Classic (internet banking). Please call 0800 MOB BANK (0800 662 226) to register, or follow our step-by-step instructions on the How-to Hub (How to register for FastNet Classic internet banking | ASB). It’s free to use the ASB Mobile app, but your usual data costs and standard FastNet Classic transaction and service charges will apply.

The app keeps improving! I like the Options bar at the bottom of page for quick access to payments/transfer, etc. Suggestion please: When doing TRANSFERS it would be nice to not tap 'DONE' afterwards (top right) as it only takes you back to Accounts list. It wastes time if you have more transfers/tasks to do. Instead of extra taps if it showed the word 'DONE', PLUS have Options bar there at bottom of screen. It would save time & provide more direct way to get to options and not tap twice.🙂

Thank you for your message and sorry to hear that you were having issues logging in to the ASB Mobile Banking app. We have identified an issue that was affecting a small number of customers on older Android devices. We have since resolved this issue and you should be able to login as normal. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. ^MJ

No longer works with Clever Kash. Any attempt to update it or remove it and the app crashes. Customer support by alrights should have a very unhappy 5 year old to deal with, but he seems to get that technology sometimes just doesn't work and waiting for the letter in the mail to check his balance might be a better 😂

Not impressed not only doe this app not update itself when you check on payments you know you have payed and they are still not showing up on your app and it's 2 days after putting money thru proves your app has a Manger bug in it so fix this issue instead of giving excuses.....
