Read the instructions Great app! All those complaining should finish reading the instructions before reviewing. Works perfectly with my normal SIM to get my balance and top up without having to go to the shop!
Was fine but has now broken This app was great for topping up my keychain Snapper on the fly, but has now inexplicably developed an error where it reads my keychain Snapper, but after entering credit card details and holding the Snapper to the back of my device as instructed, it displays "client error 9220" with no further explanation. Was stranded as a result!
Useful. This does exactly what it says on the tin. Payment form has room for improvement, the separating spaces can causes issues if you need to correct the credit card number. Being able to save credit card details would also be useful. Any plans to support topping up with NFC enabled credit cards?
Great app; rubbish product This app is very good, and makes snapper (which is a terribly badly designed, low tech system) usable. Top up on the fly and you can use your credit cards - which a lot of retailers won't accept. If only snapper had the power to get rid of trolley buses it might almost be pleasant taking the loser cruiser in Wellingtown!
Potentially useful but bad implementation Being able to check my balance and to up my Snapper card on the go is incredibly useful. However this app is total garbage. Not only it's completely unstable, crashing a lot and giving me numerous errors, it's also screwed up my billing. Update: It's been a few times now the Snapper app has double billed me for a single top up. I've been trying to get it corrected with customer support, but it seems they've forgotten about me. My advice to everyone with this is to delete it off your phone and use the website or go into a shop, unless if you like losing money.
Can cause major hassles The app can work well. Works fine from my Nexus 7 but when I try to top up using my Nexus 4 the credit card payment succeeds but I get the 9220 error when it tries to top up my card
