This is probably my preferred news app now after Stuff ruined theirs. However, selecting a notification only seems to take you to the correct story the first time, and next time it just returns you to the old story - this is a regularly annoying bug.

The app itself is nice to use but please fix the notifications bug in the latest version. It appears to ignore all preferences and just spams its notifications out for any story posted.

We understand how annoying that must be. We recommend heading to the settings tab within the app and choosing the topics you wish to receive notifications on, as the default option chosen will be All stories.
