If you’re already a Westpac customer and you have a digital banking ID, download the app and start banking right away.
If you’re a Westpac customer, but not registered for digital banking, call us on 0800 400 600 (Weekdays 7 am – 8 pm and Saturday & Sunday 8 am – 5 pm) or visit your local branch and we'll get you set up.

Other things you should know.
- This app is only available to Westpac New Zealand Limited (“Westpac”) customers who are registered users of Westpac One digital banking and who have downloaded this app.
- We recommend you always adhere to manufacturer's software and support requirements to ensure your devices are covered by the latest software and security updates. If you're connecting with a wifi network, you must always use a trusted network.
- You must set up a PIN or password to lock your mobile phone and always have them activated when the device is left idle or unattended.
- If you lose your device or it is stolen, please contact Westpac immediately on 0800 400 600.
- There are no charges for downloading the Westpac One app but internet data charges may be incurred through your mobile service provider.
- All information submitted by you during the set up and use of the Westpac One app will be retained by Westpac and used in accordance with the privacy provisions in Westpac New Zealand's General Terms and Conditions.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the operation of Westpac One digital banking services and/or this app at any time. Access is subject to availability and maintenance.

Don't use the widgets! The app itself is maybe 3/5 stars, but I activated one of the widgets that come along with it. Later that day I was told by the main app that I had no valid accounts, and I couldn't make any payments in the online interface. I was panicking on the phone to customer service for ages trying to find out what was wrong, no one worked it out, but while on hold, I deleted the widget. Suddenly everything worked again.

Great but there is one huge annoyance! On the Accounts display that shows your account current balances before logging on, the credit card balance shows the available credit card spend balance including your credit card limit instead of the actual total of outstanding items. Everyone I have spoken to wants the outstanding balance shown, not the amount available that is not yet spent. Please change it Westpac or at least give us the option to select which we want to see!

Hi Brett, The available balance for Credit cards are the most correct balance as owing balance does not include any pending transactions. We're always working hard to improve the app. Thanks for your download and feedback.^RA

never had a problem with this app. The security for Westpac mobile app is top notch . I can pay bills, set aps, check planned payments etc with ease. If i need to make a payment thats over a certain amount for a bill etc I receive a msg and get a code to enter to be able to confirm the specified details and the sum is correct in order to make such payments which is really good especially with large sums of outgoing payment. Very satisfied with Westpacs security for this app.
