The parking transaction on the app went through, but the receipt wasn't emailed until half an hour later. Whithin that time, the parking warden fined me. Now I am trying to appeal the charge and get the receipt from that transaction and again, the email would not come. Please fix the glitch. I don't want to have to prove that I paid every time I park at Whilson.

The app is simple enough to use however the minimum top up is a joke you have to have a minimum of $2.70 credit to go casual parking. I casual parked today and got charged 0.81¢ which was fine but a few minutes later I parked on the opposite side of the street for a similar amount of time as the first only to be charged $2.70 yes I ended it manually. It does not make sense!! both on casual parking, both parks on opposite sides of the street from each other yet a huge difference in charges!

Thanks for your feedback, please note that the balance top up is optional, you can transact directly on your credit card if you'd rather. ParkMate does not set or control rates, these are generally managed by the landlord or site manager, which is why rates differ between site.

For casual parking app doesn't say what the unit is e.g. is $5 per hour? half hour? This makes it VERY misleading. Also if you have selected a pre-paid session e.g. overnight, it lets you extend the session, but not with casual (if you're only going to be 1hr over the overnight session you don't want to be forced to buy an early bird session for the whole next day). This means waiting & waking up for 6am just to start a casual session manually the very minute the other one expires.

Thanks for your feedback, you're able to see the full pricing under the pricing tab on a carpark page. Our app has a function called casual which is a start/stop function, so you can start when your arrive and end when you leave, you'll then be charged the applicable prices - this function sounds ideal for you.

What’s new

• Multi-passes are now Prepaid Bundles. Same passes, same prices, clearer name.
• Low wallet balance is handled better: a clear prompt to top up or switch payment method, and an automatic switch to your saved card when the wallet is nearly empty.
• Fixes and clearer fee wording across parking, receipts and site details.
