Used it once but I won't use again. Booked a pickup it said was a minute away. It stayed as a minute away for five or six mins, then changed to 7 mins away. Finally turned up 15 mins after I had requested. It is clearly not real time tracking. I tried to cancel when it was taking too long and it said if I cancelled I may be charged a penalty fee, with no info about the conditions for charging a fee or the amount of the fee. It is useful for getting a fare estimate though.

My review of the old Zoomy app said it could do with extra features: change destination, add more stops, split fare. I haven't checked if the YourRide version has these options but I suspect not. I used the new taxi service for the first time from the airport at the weekend, it worked well. I hate the new name though, it's really clunky to use. "Gonna get a YourRide" does not roll off the tongue like 'Gonna get a Zoomy".

It used to be great, now the app is buggy (freezes, shows the driver as being 10mins away...for way longer than 10mins), and to top it off I got ripped off on my birthday, as the driver finished the ride ages away from where I got dropped off and I've had no response to emails querying the fare. I like the ethics of the company but unfortunately they are not customer centric and don't manage their drivers well, so will stop using them.
