For the last month, I've received rare and random notifications whereas it worked perfectly before. I've emailed twice for help at the address given but no acknowledgement even received. I've reinstalled several times. Still no joy. Help please! I want to continue being informed and ready!

Really damn good app - Especially in NZ, after a quake I instantly go to this and see what magnitude it is etc. Only compliant i have is that if too many people have reported a quake then it become impossible to move the map

Hi, a quake's intensity can jump around a bit after sending the initial alert - we send out alerts within the first few mins, but a quake's energy takes several mins to travel to distant stations. If you're getting too many alerts, I'd recommend increasing the intensity threshold or narrowing the location you get notified for. Very good application I have been using it on an iPad for sometime and find it very informative. This is now on a Samsung Android unit and it seems to be working very well.
Taking up too much internal storage space. Why is moving the app to external SD card disabled? Any reason why it must be installed on internal memory?
Ive had this ap for a while but the last few days theres been no notifications and theres been a few quakes over last few day

Thanks Tony Awesome but just one thing Could you add ability to save the 'shaking' intensity on the quake screen? Really like to set to strong/severe only. Even rotating the screen resets your filter :(

Still having notification problems. Set all different scenarios and still get groups of notifications and then stops. On a latest Android phone, any hints?

Hi Sid, notifications are sent out as soon as a quake's location quality reaches 'good'. Usually ~1min after a quake. Earthquake waves take 5mins to travel the country and the automatic location system recalculates an earthquake's details as this extra data comes in. If you add a 'weak+' notification setting, you'll be notified of smaller quakes. Good app to have, Would be better if there was an option to change the settings so you can choose to see the severity of a quake/shake of your choice.

I'm thinking you mean having a list of just notified quakes? We also think this would be useful, it's on our development wishlist. However the way the app is set up makes this very tricky to do... Thank god I'm getting this because I want to know how many mini shakes come after the 7.5 last night!
Turns you into an amateur seismologist Told me about the 14 Nov 2016 M7.5 quake about 20 seconds before it arrived in Auckland!

Thanks :) Just needs a little tweeking Great app ,but could you add the option to customize notification sound. The choices on my phone are very limited and very quite.
Great new felt reporting, but the push notifications aren't coming through at all.
Very good Whenever I check the website I always check the drums first before the quake list, for me this is missing. Otherwise great.
