My first experience with PhotoAiD was great. I just followed the guide, I received the prints in the mail quickly and received my passport in the noted delay. My second attempt was a little different as Canada now now has restrictions on photos taken outside of the country (see their official guide), although the pictures were accepted, they warned me that it was risky and that they could be rejected, thus sadly I would not use the app again for a passport, unfortunate as this service is great.
