A 4 digit NACA airfoil plotter. This app plots these airfoils and let the user watch the effect each parameter has on the shape of the airfoil. The airfoil rotates following user screen drags. A little nice tool for learning the basics of NACA airfoils shapes. This app may be usefull for airplane modeling, RC enthusiasts, wind turbine, boat, rudder designers, teachers, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics students.

It is pretty cool, but is still lacking a lot. It would be cool to see this turn into the airfoil simulator on the NASA website. A little more UI and more features and this can turn into a great app. I'll give you five stars with the hope that you will make this better.

Looking forward to seeing aFoilSim details developed. Would like to see reflex wings, Joukowsky, and 3D with taper, sweepback and washout.

This app is great if you are new to airfoils and want better understanding of them. Would be great if could simulate airflow and the effect changes to the airfoil make! Good work ;)

What's new
Thank you all for all your constructive feedback. I just released aFoilSim. It has all the functionality of aFoil plus it shows qualitative CL, CM, CD and CP plots. Watch the effect each 4-digit NACA parameter has on these non-dimensional quantities and their plots.
