Need Some Stuff The only thing wrong is there is no battery meter. All the Parrot apps have it, why not you? I will bump this up to 5 stars if it is included.
Yeah, it will drive a 2.0 decently. Too bad besides the main sphero app, and the lightning lab, both of wich it works great with, there isn't a single other app with SPRK+ support yet. It doesn't pair with my device but still seems to connect and control wonderfully, so I would think getting this app and others like Exile some SPRK+ action would be pretty high on the list of priorities as it is your flagship device right now. If you can give me an ETA for SPRK+ support with some of these apps I will happily give you 5 stars on all fronts.
Waste of money I mean i spent 90 pounds for this plastic ball with lights inside and went off it in a week! Dont waste your money guys.
Would be a decent app, IF it worked! I just received my Sphero 2.0 in the mail today, and I was so excited to try out the different apps for it... so far I haven't tried them all, but my Sphero works very well with the regular Sphero app... This app, not so much. It will let me connect, aim the taillight, and do the test roll, but when I try to drive it around, it will go about a foot, and then lose connection, at which point it flashes it's name colors (W,O,G in my case)...3 of the 5 times I tried, half of the app also went dark then crashed.
Crashes on connect. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running latest Lollipop. Sphero SPRK 2.0. Several apps have the same problem. Other apps work prefectly. This app crashes when it connects to Sphero.
Forced Closed Everytime Used this app as the suggested Sphero 2 app wouldn't carry out firmware update. Would get through "test" procedure OK but when you go to "drive" it would force close everytime. Used SPRK Lightning Lab app instead which worked fine but took a few hours trial and error to work this out. Really should be seamless as expect a lot of upset kids come Christmas Day!
*** Added "Multi-Ball" mode ***
This is an experimental feature that allows you to drive multiple balls around at the same time. Simply select each ball from the connection screen and then press DONE!
To aim each ball, you can use the regular two finger rotation gesture to aim each ball individually or you can use the group calibrate button and align each ball by hand.
Also in this release:
• Fix for a crash that would happen after renaming a ball from the Sphero app
Sphero sees and responds to the world around it using your phone as eyes/brain
