Busybox is needed by several root apps and is a powerful utility. Learn more about busybox at http://busybox.net/
BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any small or embedded system.
BusyBox has been written with size-optimization and limited resources in mind. It is also extremely modular so you can easily include or exclude commands (or features) at compile time. This makes it easy to customize your embedded systems. To create a working system, just add some device nodes in /dev, a few configuration files in /etc, and a Linux kernel.
BusyBox is maintained by Denys Vlasenko, and licensed under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE version 2.

Devices listed below can use an overclocking module to overclock from within the app. Other devices can flash custom kernels to overclock. ( Droid X, Droid 2, Original Droid, Milestone, Milestone2, Flipout, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy A, Archos A70 Tablet, Archos A101 Tablet).
Note: Original Droid users must have the stock 4 slot kernel for the module to work. Support for more kernels may come later.

VirtualBox Manager is an SSH based remote management solution designed specifically for Linux hosts. If your host is on the internet with an SSH server that's all you need for completely secure access.
With full support for 4096 bit RSA public key authentication your server management tasks can be done remotely using a maximized security protocol.
The entire interface has been tweaked with proper ActionBar design patterns, and is extremely memory efficient. Each host can have a custom image selected from your phone's Gallery and you can have as many hosts as you'd like. There are no limits to the amount of hosts or machines that you can manage.
VirtualBox Manager is completely automated, and here's how it works. First you setup your host's info, including a username and a password. You'll need to connect first using password authentication, then VirtualBox automatically handles uploading the public key to the server and adding it to your authorized_keys2 file; you simply press the upload key button in the action bar. Public key authentication is then enabled, and you can completely disable password authentication on the server to maximize security.
You can enable and disable public key authentication at any time, and you can re-generate the RSA key at any time. VirtualBox Manager uses a single RSA key, which can be uploaded to as many hosts as desired.
Start, stop, pause, restart, and save your virtual machines from anywhere your phone has data connectivity. VirtualBox Manager was built because I found a use for it, and I publish it on the Play Store so others can enjoy its powerful functionality. VirtualBox Manager is 100% free and is my way of contributing to the power of Android :)

*** Note: You will be prompted for a second install from the market. This second install contains the bulk of the code (JRuby and the Ruby stdlib), and can be shared among other Ruboto projects. It reduces the size of this app by 90%.
*** Note 2: If you had a previous install and are experiencing problems, make sure you removed ruboto.rb (and the ruboto directory) from /sdcard/jruby.
*** Note 3: Why so many permissions? This app uses very few permissions on its own. Most of the permissions are requested to make them available to any scripts that you may want to write.
*** Note 4: This install will prompt you to replace the demo scripts onto you device (assuming you had a previous install). If you do not update, the old scripts will not work.
*** Note 5: Look to the demo scripts for examples of how to use JRuby to interact with Android. The demo-irb-server.rb script allows you to interact with you device scripts over wifi, making it much easier to edit your code.
Follow the ruboto and ruboto-irb projects on github.com/ruboto. The ruboto (formerly ruboto-core) project adds the ability to package scripts into applications.
View the inventory, VM details (like OS, tools status, notes, ...), alarms, sessions, general details, recent tasks, storage infos (eg free space) and even answer virtual machine questions. Additional: you can now also take/revert and delete snapshots for free, and rename VMs. The app is ad-free, working with Android 1.6+ and updates are released regularly.
You can now also start and stop machines with the Virtual Viewer Power Addon (separate app)! Once installed it allows you to power on, power off, reset, suspend VMs and to shutdown or reboot the guest OS.
The Virtual Viewer App itself will always be free of charge! If you like to support me, please provide me with feedback and what you like to see implemented or buy the Virtual Viewer power addon.
If you have problems please check the project page and/or contact me!
SD Card: you can export/import profiles to/from sd card
Internet: to be able to connect to network hosts this is required

"If you’ve ever attempted to root a device prone to difficulties or requiring a trial-and-error type exploit (the Motorola Droid X or T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide, for example) then you know how easily it can go wrong. Sometimes the operation fails and you end up with the superuser app installed but without actual root file system access. A quick search for ”lost root” on our forums yields an astonishing 274,000 results. Almost all the visible results link to posts where forum members believe they have lost root access, usually due to updating a ROM or accepting an over-the-air update.
XDA Member android_owl has created an app to help out in these all-too-common situations. SU Checker searches for and identifies Superuser binaries on your device in a flash. It can help check for root if you suspect you may have lost permissions. This great little diagnostic tool and time saver can be found in the release thread or on the Android Market here. Give it a try the next time and let the developer know what you think!

A simple busybox installer/uninstaller/verifier that provides an on rails experience for Android devices.
Why another busybox installer:
- There are broken busybox installations out there and fixing these are hard for the typical users
- busybox installation should be like su binary: as simple as it can get
- I want a busybox installer that I can control

Auto-adjust your ringer/vibration.
inPocket will set your phone to vibration mode when the phone enters your pocket or when it is facing down.
When out-of-pocket, ringer volume will adjust automatically to ambient noise level: if it's quiet volume will be minimum and when on a loud place, the subway for example, it will try to be audible.
For headphones and headsets users, Droid inPocket has a mode called headPhones, capable of reading out loud any received sms message or incoming call contact/number.
