The app looks great and functions well. The only thing I do not like is that unlike its PC counterpart, the server list does not show the various server's ping times. I looked in the settings but couldn't find any option to turn this behavior on. The ping time of a particular server is very important to me when picking which server to connect to so I consider this crucial. Hopefully this will be fixed in short order.

Thanks! Eddie Android edition is mainly used in mobility where we can't rely on ICMP. Several mobile ISPs de-prioritize or block "pings" when they are more than just a few. So, ICMP would frequently cause unreliability in the auto server choice. Eddie uses a more refined method which doesn't need "ping" to pick a good server. Enjoy AIrVPN!

Don't understand what's happening. I chose air vpn because they are the only ones that have a gui on Linux and is very easy to use, yet on android it's the worst vpn app I have used. You can't login via the app, and you cannot switch servers on the fly. To use the service, you'll have to login via the website and download a configuration file - and you need to do that every time you want to change server location....I hope this gets sorted in the next release, before my subscription expires in December... Otherwise, I'll be switching vpn provider.

Eddie 1.0 aims to a superior experience than any other OpenVPN based app: longer battery life, better traffic leaks prevention, maintaining compatibility with any OpenVPN service. Version 2.0 offers full AirVPN integration as planned. We're sorry for the misunderstanding. We are confident that the clarification has informed you properly.

I wanted to like it cause heard so much praise from users. First could not get Eddie to work on my windows 11 pc at all! And other PC's worked with win10 but extremely slow speed in US servers and had a lot of problems with the android app. Got that to work finally only to get extremely slow speeds on the phone also. Switched back to my old VPN and high speeds were back. The'll probably say contact support but why should I? It should just work. Glad got a trial and did not waste money on this VP
