I've been streaming the Current since before there was apps. I love the Current. This is an improvement. I love the different stations. Great. And this one doesn't cut out like the MPR one did. I'd always have to reload that. However, this app continues the issue of not being able to update the playlist as the songs change (one star demerit). The other issue is the volume somehow is lower than my other music streaming apps. (2nd star demerit). I hope these issues can get fixed 🤞

I love The Current. I am a member and contribute monthly. I really want to give the app a better rating. However, the constant ad interruptions are incredibly frustrating. I always miss a favorite song because of this and then I have to listen to 3 more ads before the next song. There are more ads in this app than on the actual station. This is the third time I have tried the app. I uninstalled it previously because of the ad interruptions. They have only gotten worse. Uninstalling again.

After many years to get us an app that works as it should, MPR continues to fail. The inability to keep the currently playing track name and artist refreshed for each track is head-scratching. Yes, I can go to see the playlist later, but that's not the point. I'm a sustaining member and think listeners deserve better.
