Best app of its type, but needs improvement This is the best musical squencer app for android, but there are some things that need fixing. The ability to save instead of just exporting is a must, exporting to MIDI would be great too. Board size configuration would be great. More sounds to choose from would be cool, but most of all, the code needs optimization. Whole intervals are skipped if the board is full enough, even on my beefy phone. Keeping this app for a long time regardless.
Awesome concept, poor performance I really like this idea and I've got some interesting results with it. The problem is that the interface is very laggy and difficult to use because of this. I would like if it had more options, maybe a waveform drawing function?
Having read the book. Very heavy commitment (12mb) - and additional commitments (get player now) - A great investment in an otherwise simple task. Just sayin
Love it Really an awesome way to create music and experiment with it! That said i'd love to see further improvements, like the ability to resize the grid, horizontally and vertically, or some way to change colors without having to switch the screen.
Best 8bit music creator! However, if there could be an option to expand the length of the grid to make room for more notes (making your project longer), this would be perfect. Keep up the good work!
It keeps freezing on me!! If this app was made of ice it would NEVER defrost! THAT is why I am giving it one star.
Changes in 2.1:
- UI is now optimized for larger screens
Color Sounds has been rewritten completely from scratch! Some improvements in version 2.0:
- Recording manual mode to a WAV or FLV file
- Ability to change scale (major, minor, pentatonic, etc.)
- Ability to change note range of each color
- Greatly improved camera record mode
- Improved color analysis
An APK of the original version is available from the website.
