Really good for freeware it's a pay to use, but you can use google tts or in my case Samsungs. there are some mispronouncation but i dont know if that is Samsung or voxdox. there are some bugs, when i let it play a book for a long time it stops at random points and i have to restart it. when i reverse the color and exit out the book doesn't stay reversed. it also doesn't always change the page after moving to the next. those 3point 2 star.
It works most of the time... other times it cant read my text, it then substitutes words for numbers. It would be nice if you could adjust the reading speed as well. Otherwise I like it. You can take a picture of your text and it will convert it to words. You can also change the readers voice in many different ways. Those are the features I really like.
Great app - but they are highly immoral. App tries to trick you - tells you that you need to purchase voices, in order for it to work.... which is not true. Android comes with its own voices that can be easily and automatically used with this app. and terrible customer service. i would gladly pay for the app, if the guy wasn't so immoral.
This app accomplishes the goal of listening to my course reading assignments instead of reading them. It takes a little maneuvering but since the app offers several options to retrieve the information it works out. My only issue is that it constantly defaults to the tts for the app so I have to change it each time. I have updated the settings also. But overall I can't complain.
Best voice out there and probably the most versatile reader on the market. I is the best reader I have found but it has some room for improvement. Converts images to text and speech with some errors. It also loses the page format and paragraph format. But like I said its the best out there. I would give it five stars but it does convert some text from images with errors and it can only convert one page at time from camscanner files (entire files either do not convert at all or the text is stung out so all it reads are the letters individually).
No valid text. That is the error I get anytime I attempt to open and convert a pdf. Really sad that you also have to make the document less than 49000 bytes. Not even worth the time to download.
