Excellent! I can not believe that incremental volume has not yet been implemented in Android. Such an old and useful feature... Anyways, this app rectifies the situation. Works like a charm for ring volume. I haven't tried it with the alarm though. Awesome work, sashomasho!
Works. I have foxy ring and they work together. Only wish it could base the maximum on what it starts at. Like only go up so many notches.
Causes Reboot on Galaxy Nexus When the alarm goes off, sometimes causes the phone to reboot just before you hear the alarm, causing you to oversleep and miss work.
Not so good I used it for very long time. But on my device (Nexus 4 with Android 4.2.2 and with every newer version) it was not setting volume back to where it was - so every time someone called me it always just increased volume and after a day it started at maximum. It's too bad because otherwise it was a good, simple app.
No More Missed Calls! I'm constantly adjusting the system volume for music, games, etc, on my phone. On too many occasions I've I accidentally left my system volume down to where I can't hear my ringtone (and consequently missed phone calls). This app is the solution I've been looking for! Even if my phone is on silent mode, I can set it to increase the ring volume (you can also set it to "respect" silent/vibrate mode and not ring when they are set). I've tried many other apps, but this one is the only one I've found that is not affected by where you may have last set the system volume.
Problem possibly caused by Kitkat Remember it working perfectly before but now the increased ring volume level will get stored upon answering a call and next ringing will start with this increased level. Upon subsequent calls ring volume level will get to maximum this way...
