Very satisfied with this app. As with all apps there will always be limitations to the more technical transactions which can be done online from a computer. The ease of logging into the app using fingerprint identification, if your phone has a fingerprint reader, allows for quick access to my finances. After a purchase, the app usually refreshes within a minute. Depositing checks is easy and haven't had any trouble tracking my spending. It has charts and graphs to keep you informed where your money is going. The pie charts tells you what percent of your finances go to which bills. The graphs let you know the level of your overall spending month to month. Very smooth operation and easy navigation of the app. I would highly recommend it.
SERVER CONSTANTLY UNAVAILABLE! Please fix this major bug issue, every time I try to sign in the system is down and I need to log in on a web browser instead. No point in having an app if it can't be accessed... UPDATE: Bug issues seem to be fixed and I LOVE being able to add my other accounts. It's so convenient and I can easily see what I owe and how much I have in my accounts. Thank you for the update !
Every thing is really easy to use except for the bill pay. I refuse to use the bill pay with BECU because it has been a hassle to set up. I've had other credit unions and banks in the past and their bill pay account set up was so much easier to get things rolling. In my opinion, once the bill pay account is set up it's a time burden to continue management on it within your system. I suggest an easy way to add/manage bill pay accounts in the mobile app. It would allow people living on the constant go the manageability they are looking for in these apps and I know it would make my life easier. ( Please note I'm pretty computer savvy so it's not the user (me) it's just not timely or user friendly in my opinion.)
The BECU app is absolutely great. It saves me a lot of time (especially since everything is in one place) and easy to use. I particularly enjoy the mobile check deposits and the ease of transferring money between accounts. It can be glitchy from time to time, but the glitches are usually minor and don't happen too often.
Only Slightly annoying that I have to log in every time I open it. And it has listed features that font work in app. But ot eliminates alot of hassle from the online page and fairly quick for an app like this
Why does this app keep forgetting my login credentials? I have both fingerprint as well as "remember me" options checked and it still loses my saved details every couple of months. Does the QA team not test their updates properly?
