About this app

The NASB Bible app is the most efficient, convenient and trustworthy way of reading and studying the Bible via a mobile device, anytime and on the go. And it can be used even if there is no Wi-Fi access. Whether you're using it for quick and easy look-up of the NASB Bible or more in-depth study, it features interactive tools to help further your understanding of the Holy Bible. These tools include reading plans, daily verses, statistics, night mode, an text-to-voice reading. And you can quickly navigate to any verse using several different methods, including via word search. The NASB Bible app is for young adults up to seniors who want to read and study the New American Standard Bible.

The New American Standard Bible continues to be the leading translation for contemporary readers, with accuracy you can trust. Originally produced in 1971 and updated in 1995, the nasb is widely recognized for its faithfulness to both the vocabulary and syntax of the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek of the original sources. The nasb adheres to the concept of a formal equivalence translation, and so it strives to provide modern readers with the most accurate and clear word-for-word translation. This also enables the reader to study Scripture in its most literal format and to experience the individual personalities of the authors of the original manuscripts. And so the nasb app is the most popular and reliable go-to for Bible reading and study in the 21st Century.

This app has a few bugs that make it less than ideal... I purchased the paid version... 8.49 cents to support the developers, however, I do not see any sincere effort to correct bugs. The audio continues without break between chapters, which if you want to listen to consecutive chapters... all is good. But... if you don't, it is inconvenient. Sometimes, you can't stop it, you can't exit, it is frustrating. I don't believe reading or listening to God's word, should be.

Easy to move between books and to type in notes for future reference. Also, enjoy going to sleep or working out with the voice reading as a side or background sound... it's kind of crazy how many more details I pick up while working out and listening. As To The Missing Star: There is one very important issue that should be addressed (*if I'm not using this wrong): The "NOTES" function should allow for editing rather than simply overwriting the previous note. Overall: mostly useful.

This is an easier read than the esv version. I like that when I have left the app and come back to it the next day, it's right where I left off reading. Very convenient. There are no bells or whistles. It's just the scripture and you read it. I get no ads or text message alerts from it. No emails... nothing to bother me. love it.
