Use this App to report roadkill that you see on your travels around Ireland.
There is a list of species or you can type in the name by selecting unidentified.
If you want to report the sighting then press the row of the species you want to report and the app will record your location. You can use the "use map" button to select the location where you saw the sighting (Please note this will use the internet so may cost you so you might want to do this in a WiFi spot).
You can add comments or set the time/date of the sighting.
We ask for an e-mail address in order to be able to verify the reporting (usually not needed) and it is also what is used to allow you to retrieve your reports from the www.biology.ie
You can choose to save the details and send a few records later or send the details immediately. When in the lists if you select menu->remove you can delete any saved details. Menu->History will allow you to list all the reports you have previously sent or to remove this history.
Then look at http://irishwildlifereporting.appspot.com/roadkill.htm to see what has been reported and where.
All data will be sent to www.biology.ie and made publicly available by them (but not the names/e-mail of the reporter). See http://www.biology.ie for more details.
Please help us find out where Ireland's roadkill is.
