I really want to like this app. But it's so bad: formatting gets reset a lot, pages are sometimes skipped without any reason, highlighting makes the pages go back or forth, there's only one color for highlighting and when you highlight in dark mode, the highlight color is almost the same as the text. There should also be a dark mode for the app itself. And the formatting potential is there, we just need it to be remembered when we close the app.

Thank you for the review Marli! Please give our latest update, 1.1.4, a shot, as it should have improved a lot of the worst page jumping & highlight issues quite a bit. Glitchy. Issues with page touch response. Lots of issues with highlighting. But I appreciate being able to support local. It can grow! Edit: I do appreciate your efforts and aim to support local, and that you're actively working towards fixing bugs. However, recently realized downloading of content isn't possible to load to an ereader so I'll no longer be able to support. A shame.

Leaving an update since the last reply. The newest version of the app, 1.1.4, should resolve a lot of the worst bugs you mention so please do give it a try. As for the issue with downloading books for reading outside the app: we only currently support the downloading and transfer of DRM-free titles, though we hope to offer it for all in the future.

Skipping to the start of the chapter still happens upon accidental landscape changes and notes/highlights, but there have been recent, helpful additions and the team is acknowledging people's feedback the best they can. I do want to see the app improve and will continue supporting via the website. I'm a big annotator. It helps me engage with the text and actually remember things which is why I gave a 3/5 for now. If you don't note or highlight much, your experience may be better.

Hi Keisha, and thank you for the honest review. The issue with position jumping when highlighting and landscape mode are known issues that we are hoping to fix in future updates.
