Perfect Exactly what I was looking for. It's working on my old OnePlus One. I use it as a development device, often leaving it plugged in for hours on end. I know that modern batteries and devices are designed to prevent overcharging and wear, but I'd still prefer to be on the safe side while leaving it plugged in for hours every day. Hopefully this can extend the life of my device, even if only slightly.
Works like Running on AC Power (CM11s) To make it work, I have to press disable several times after I plugged it into the charger. Instead of the app disabling the charge, it works more like my phone is running on AC power.
Doesn't work with rooted Nexus 5 Aside from flashing up a toast saying "Charging stopped" or "charging started" this doesn't seem to do anything on my rooted n5 (android 6.0.1). Ampere reports no change in charge rate in either state, just as I can see the battery percentage continue to increase while the charger is plugged in. Pity
It's work CM base 7.1 This work for second time pressed disable button. Can you say a little bit about the method you did ? I worry is it harmful for my devices ?
Works, don't be confused It only works on rooted phones. It's well advertised. Maybe you think it's not working because the icon says so, but I've tested with powertop and the battery discharge changes considerably when off.
Doesn't work on rooted GS5 on 6.0.1. it says charging has stopped, but phone continues to charge until full. I wanted this to stop draining the Mavic controller. Wasted my money
