When using the chessnut app for my pro E-board, levels 1-3 are extremely easy (blunders queen on move 5), but levels 4-8 are all full-strength stockfish (when plugged into Lichess: level 4 plays with 98-99% accuracy every single game.) While I'm somewhat enjoying playing against full-strength stockfish, I am getting tired of being squeezed to death before the endgame. Why is this happening and is there a way to fix this?

The basics are good and this could be a great app, but there are limitations that really impair it. Only 8 levels of challenge so you rapidly reach a point where 1 level is too easy but the next up is too hard. This would be easy to fix, but has not been. Also the connection between app and board drops often, and when it does the level resets without you knowing, so the game suddenly becomes ridiculously easy. Again, very easy fix.

I was somewhat disappointed by the app. You can not constantly connect your accounts (require reentering lichess password each time). Bluetooth connection is unstable (drops every 15 minutes). The chess engine is very poor and can not be customised (suggest 2. ke2 as the best move after 1.e4 c5). To conclude, the process of analysing the position (which was the main reason why I bought this app) is too inconvenient.
