Love the mobility of the app. It took me a bit to find the brand reliability...which I'm still not sure how I found but this tool is still valuable. I bought a range, dishwasher and am buying a refrigerator based on these reports and surveys.
I like to be able to see the ratings. If I didn't have this app when I went to buy my 55" 4K Smart TV I know I would've been disappointed with the one I was going to buy!
Even STILL not pulling information from the site; not worth it yet; still severely missing stuff. Until this app can update regularly through the website/Internet, I can't recommend this app to anyone. The information still is heavily outdated/missing items on their site like bug spray 1. The main problem/lacking feature is that this app relies SOLELY on updates to the app itself rather than the CR website, and as a previous subscriber, I know CR went over 6 months without updating this app 2. There are no articles on the app, if I want to buy something, I want to get a good deal and making an article would help me(and others) get a better idea of items 3. No way to cancel through the app/url. You have to call up Consumer Reports just to cancel your subscription.

The update sucks The redesign doesn't keep you logged in in between searches. Then when you sign in you have to start all over. I'm considering dropping my subscription due to the apps problems, constantly having to log in is extremely irritating when out shopping
Valuable tool! One purchase and you get ROI. Also saves a lot of frustration when the purcase doesn't live up to expectations.
