I had one large FLAC file (an entire album) with no way to jump to certain songs, but then I noticed I also had .cue files, so I needed a player that supported .cue. This player does, it's exactly what I needed. 5 stars. (If anyone needs to know how to get to your sd card, just press the folder button in the bottom right, then press the folder at top with the 2 dots to go to the previous directories, until you see "sdcard". The exact path, for me, was /storage/sdcard1)
Needs Lollipop update Love this player, simple UI, flac support, what more could you ask? Music playback is stuttering/lagging terribly since upgrade to the 5.0. Please fix asap DB devs
A 10band eq that works & replay gain!? It's just what I need it to be; A great music player with support for a variety of formats, the eq works and shows the decibels and it can check files for replay gain tags. The only cons are the UI, it just doesn't look great but it doesn't take away from it's usefulness and the lack of artist, album, song & genere views.
Will give more stars when there's an option to view files on playlist by file name. Gets annoying when the file's metadata are in shift-JIS or gb2312 and all I get are gibberish on the playlist.
Wonderful player! This meet all my requirements of a media player, except that it sends nothing to Bluetooth player... in fact, it is probably not recognized as a media player by Android as other media app (like YouTube) show up in the Bluetooth player while deedbeaf is playing...
It got a good review on PC Magazine so I thought I would try it. Multiple steps to install, which is odd. The constant stream of ads is annoying, but the app is free. The App can't find any of my music files on my phone. Instead, it loaded my ringtones as music. I have used several music players and they automatically recognize my music files, but this one does not. In the trash it goes.
