Best Audio Out of all the popular and expensive competition this app proves one thing. Its the audio in the end that really matters. Use your ears and don't be fooled by EQs and fancy effects unless that's your thing. Interface uses a folder/playlist way of doing this. Once you "get it" its very efficient. The overall effect is is a strong, stable player with a small footprint that out does anything else out right now in terms of pure audio. Interface could use an adjustment. Like a nicer looking widget with album art
SID tracks get cut off after 3 mins Everything is great except my SID tracks stop playing at 3:00. I paid several bucks for this app - why can't I hear the whole song? Please provide a setting to specify the time or just let it play forever and advance manually.
The best player for Android It is actually the only music player app I found usable in the entire play store. The rest seem to be trying to outsmart each other without paying enough attention to the main function - playing music.
(Copied review) Finally a simple, fast music player with gapless playback! Too many options are bloated yet lack more practical features - i.e. gapless playback: this is not that player. The way to add and play music is great for me because I'm a stickler about folder and file naming. There's a decent equalizer too, a feature missing from other options, although I probably won't use it much. Even the ads don't show up all the time (in free version). It shows this/these programmer(s) care about their users. 5 stars.
Fantastic. Plays every stream I throw at it! Has a simple "add loaction" function which for whatever reason is missing in most players. Great deal, happy to support this project.
5 Stars for actually playing 24-bit 96kHz .wav and FLAC in stereo.. Worth supporting this dev... The other free player to list this feature plays them, but in mono (verified by listening).
* since version 1.18, deadbeef pro is just an unlock key, and you need to have deadbeef player (non pro) version installed.
