SmoothSync for Cloud Calendar syncs your iCloud calendars and reminders. Due to its implementation as sync adapter it integrates seamlessly with the native calendar app and widgets and operates invisible in the background.

Important note for Android 4.1 and Samsung users: To prevent the removal of your accounts on reboot install this app (before you install SmoothSync):

Please note that there is a new issue in Android 4.4: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=66905
It causes accounts to be removed when an app is updated. Installing the workaround app should help.

The app is designed to be as user friendly as possible. So, just enter your account data, select your calendar and SmoothSync will keep your calendars in sync.

This app will create new calendars on your device (one for each calendar in your iCloud account). It will not sync calendars of other account (like Google) to iCloud.

Please, if you find a bug send me an email. Without detailed error description I often can't do anything especially when I can't reproduce it.

Important! If your phone removes the accounts on reboot, move the App back from SD card to the phone. Some phones (if not all) can't handle sync adapters on SD Card properly.

Smooth Sync for calendars is EXCELLENT! I was doubtful at first because there was an amount I had to pay. But when I paid for the app and started to install it, there was a button for REFUND. When I used the app, in less than 3 minutes my calendars from my iPhone/Google Calendar synced very well. All my events were shown! My device: Samsung Galaxy Note tablet with 4.4.2 android. I love it!

Great for Apple workstations I don't usually review apps, but Marten Gajda did such a great job with this one that I can't recommend it highly enough. If you work primarily with a Mac, this will sync your calendars via iCloud seamlessly. You can even download Marten's "OpenTasks" app to sync tasks from Reminders. In addition to their great utility, both apps are also intuitive to use and visually delightful in design, which is why I'm giving this review 5 stars. And for less than $3? Total steal. Thanks Marten!

This app is very good. Syncs my family calendar that is icloud based as advertised. I do wish it had push support as with the family calendar if someone adds an event, I have no idea that it has been added. I need to manually refresh the calendar and then search through the coming days to see what has been added. Push support with notification of an added or updated event would make this app perfect.

So far so good - Easy to use I just switched from Apple to Android and was having trouble syncing up my calendars. I never used the Google calendar before so basically all of my appointments were on my iCal. I just downloaded this and all of my iCal events were easily added to my Android calendar app. So far everything is working well!

The app works seamlessly with my ICloud Calendar on my IMac and IPad Mini. No complaints with 2-way sync - works perfect. I was required to download an additional free app to accompany this app as a workaround for a bug issue they found when rebooting your phone. No biggie, well worth the cost!

Logs out every time phone goes off This app was my saviour syncing my iCal with my Note. But in the last week it has started forgetting all settings whenever my phone is turned off or goes flat. I've been using this app for years with no trouble. Why has this started now!?

Works perfectly My wife has an iPhone and uses iCal to keep track of appointments. I use Android and wanted to be able to view and edit these iCal calendars on my phone, this app does exactly that. Spot on. I had a bit of difficulty getting it to work with 2-step verification. Contacted the developer who got back to me with the fix. Good work.

So far so good I'll keep it at four stars until I start working this thing. But it synchronized so smoothly and quickly, I'm relieved! For a small fee of less than $3, you'll avoid any hassle trying to carry around an iCloud calendar without having an iPhone or such.

Just installed on my HTC OneM8 to sync 'Google' calendar with my iCloud(Apple) calendar on my iPad and PC. Entered my iTunes Account and selected the iTunes calendar items to sync and let it do it's thing and Hey Presto it works! When I opened my Google calendar it was full with iCloud dates. BRILLIANT!!!!! Well worth paying for!

Good program when calendars sync Good program when the calendars sync. However iCloud can fail silently so your not always aware of issues. But when it works, it works well. One slight word of caution. Upgraded to Android Marshmallow 6.0 and I'm getting syncing errors. Raised it with the developers, so it will be fixed but not sure if working right now on version 6.

Does its job Syncs my iCal to my android calendar, and my Mac/iOS reminders to the Tasks app, and most importantly, they are both 2-WAY sync! Usually interfacing between apple and android requires many workarounds and compromises, but this app simply and beautifully provides cross-platform synchronization. I almost never pay for apps, but this one is soooo worth it. Thanks!

Doesn't work with Samsung S5 Bought this app based on the reviews as I've just moved from an iPhone to an S5, love the new phone nut wanted to sync the calendars with my Macbook and iPad. This app promised a seamless transition! The app will sync from Mac to android but not the other way around, i've sent a couple of emails to the support line which have both gone unanswered. My advice if you've got a Samsung s5 is just don't bother. The app doesn't work and the support is a myth, waste of money.

Works like a champ Needed to setup a shared calendar with devout Apple users who refuse to use Google calendar. I'm just as devout with Google calendar and Android. They created a shared icloud calendar and, thanks to this app, I am able to sync against it. Well, well, well worth the small price.

To any UK resident's thinking of purchasing, this app does not take daylight saving time into consideration. So while daylight saving is in effect all your events and appointments will come up as one hour ahead of your original input. A fix would be desirable.

Up until recently App was awesome, since my note 4 has done a basic update this app keeps crashing. I have cleared the cache and data on the app only to have the same issues of having to log in again and get my calanders syncing again at least twice a day! I don't want to have to use another app so please sort your issues out as I rely on this for our day-to-day running of the business.

Using this app I quickly was able to establish a back and forth communication between iTunes calendar on my MacBook Pro and my android phone calendar. Worked fast and has some nice controls. Highly recommend it for hybrid google/apple people like me.

Doesn't even let me log in I bought this app based on great reviews, but it didn't work. I've since read more reviews and can see it doesn't work on samsung s5. Very disappointing this wasn't stated in the description.

Can't get it to work. I have a Samsung S4 mini and can't get it to allow my apple ID. Saya it failed. I have it on several other devices and no problems. Can't get it on a Galaxy S5 now either.

Nice Just bought the note 4 and it will not auto sync. Settings are correct, but still not working. And the service here are super slow. I can't recommend it anymore...

Excellent Solution for Mac/Android I just switched from an iPhone but still use my Mac to share numerous calendars with my family via iCloud. After racking my brain trying to figure out how to sync iCloud and Google calendars (there is no good method) I stumbled across this elegant solution. It just works.

Error message that jellybean detected!!! My phone has Lollypop 5.0 2 and this app is giving a error msg that I have jelly bean and I have to install JB workaround smoothsync!!! Guys at smooth sync pls rectify my problem or refund me!!! Thanks.

Bidirectional sync works, not perfect Works exactly as advertised, not a perfect solution for me. Wife has iPhone and uses iCalendar. I use Android and Google calendar. We could send each other appts but any time she changed an appt it would not update in Google Calendar. This app let's me see her calendars on my phone, but does not let me see that calendar on my Google calendar via Web browser. Our solution to all this is to stop sending appts to each other and instead I just need to check the family calendar on my phone. An ok workaround 4 me

I didn't switch from an Apple device to an Android. I need to sync my Android calendar with someone who uses icloud calendar. They should make it clear up front that if you don't already have an icloud account, logging into SmoothSync with a gmail account as your Apple ID will be a completely infuriating process. The app might work great if you can use it, but I've been trying to log in for the past 3 days without success. No thanks.

I've been trying to find a way of syncing my wife's calendar on Android to mine on Apple iCloud / Outlook and this is the first one that is easy to set up, has a simple interface / display, and actually works! Exactly as advertised. This app is a lifesaver. I've been on iOS for four years and as such had A LOT of calender info I thought I'd have to leave behind. Thanks to this app, I didn't have to. The import process was quick and easy and everything was where it should've been. If you need a program to import your iOS calenders from, this is it - worth every cent.
