Fixes the issue as promised. Installed caldav sync on my S3 and hooked it up to my Corp calendar. Worked great. Rebooted to test and sure enough it lost my account. Installed the workaround and it now survives a reboot. Thank you.
Motorola Droid mini Worked great for me! Even though I have Jellybean 4.2.2, my Caldav account would be wiped out on reboot. This fixed it. Thanks!
It stopped working On galaxy s3 running android 4.3, the app doesn't work to fix the deleted account issue. :(
Switched phones. Having dinner issues getting it to sync back up. Other than that, bullet proof. Any help please.
Nowhere clearly to get help This app says to email, but can't find an email address anywhere to send an email for help. There are a couple of websites listed for support, but still saw nowhere to get help. I have Caldav and the work around app, but noting working.
Made my day What a nasty bug and what a successful fix. Thanks a lot!!!
The workaround now disables itself for a couple of seconds after booting the device. That ensures the original sync app can take over the account.
- new in 1.4
Change disable/enable sequence
Allow workaround to be called from CalDAV-Sync. I hope that fixes all issues with removed accounts.
On shutdown the app ensures the workaround is enabled on the next start (hence the new permission)
