It stopped working On galaxy s3 running android 4.3, the app doesn't work to fix the deleted account issue. :(
Fixed it! This seems to have fixed the issue on 4.3 for the Note 3. Account is now persistent upon reboot.
Works perfectly Have had no adverse issues and the sync has been seamless.
Bug present in 4.3 Can confirm that the original bug is still present in Android 4.3 on Galaxy Note 3.

Nowhere clearly to get help This app says to email, but can't find an email address anywhere to send an email for help. There are a couple of websites listed for support, but still saw nowhere to get help. I have Caldav and the work around app, but noting working.
The workaround now disables itself for a couple of seconds after booting the device. That ensures the original sync app can take over the account.

Change disable/enable sequence
Allow workaround to be called from CalDAV-Sync. I hope that fixes all issues with removed accounts.
On shutdown the app ensures the workaround is enabled on the next start (hence the new permission)
