Only one tiny flaw.... I love this app and use it all the time when working on my digital art. I especially love the ability to see the code for each color so i can type it into photoshop and get it immediately. My only problem is though, I would love if we could type the code for a color into the app. So if I have a certain color and want to find a complimentary bit for it, I can just enter the color in instead of noodling around until I get something close. I can deal with it, Im a big girl, it's merely a suggestion, great job
Easy, yet powerful Out of all the color wheel apps in the store I perfer this one the most. It doesnt over complicate things. Is simple and to the point. Has great tools to help find good color combinations. If i could change anything it would be the ability to choose one of your "secondary" samples as your main color. Sometimes when im looking for a certain tone i see it in the color boxes below but when you click it, it only shows the number. Thank you for creating such a helpful app.
Works great, love the UI I have this on my tablet and my phone and it works really well. There isn't many apps out there that I found that lets you just choose a color and find associated colors that work with it. Other apps require a picture that they pull colors from but if you don't have a picture, which I don't have, then those other apps don't work. That's why I love this app b/c you can play around with different color schemes.
Perfect! This offers virtually unlimited color combinations! Lots of color variety and lots of features make this a five star app! I'm a local jewelry designer and I use a color wheel regularly to help spark my imagination when I can't seem to perfect my color scheme and I'm so excited to have stumbled upon this. This is definitely my new favorite app!
Super helpful Like others, I use this app daily to coordinate my outfits, and it's great. I love the interface: plenty of functionality and extremely easy to use. To those of you complaining that the pairs are "wrong," I looked it up, and this seems to be based on a "Real Colour Wheel" that actually takes into account things like the structure of the human eye, and that the colour wheel we all learned as children is an oversimplification. You can Google it. Meanwhile, this makes my outfits look great, so hoorah!
Umm... UI and design are excellent in my opinion. People experiencing glitches probably don't own a Note 10.1. Too bad. But the wheel is inaccurate. Yellow is NOT the complement of blue. Do not use this app art students, or your teacher will know you weren't paying attention in class. So surprised more people didn't catch this. I sincerely hope no "professionals" are using this...
Revamp of the user interface and better support for smaller screened devices (now I've got a Nexus 4 to test on).
1). Redesign of iconography (more ICS/JB like).
2). Move the palette design buttons to the action bar.
3). Add a simple colour name database.
Some users have reported lock up and crashes. I've added an option that hopefully will help, if not then I'll have to redesign part of the UI rendering code.
