This dictionary is unique in observing the words of the Arabic language since the beginning of their use in inscriptions and texts, and the changes that occurred in their structures and meanings within their textual contexts, following the timeline of this development. Given the long history of the Arabic language and the sheer volume of its texts, the dictionary is being completed in stages. Therefore, through this electronic portal, we offer the materials of the first stage, which includes about one hundred thousand lexical entries, and through it we provide several types of linguistic, textual and statistical services.
