Ah hv used 3dr for years has Meade me a better pilot many saves. This software works okay till today. Kept repeating things stabilize armed disarmed etc etc always used to work but guess I need to use my windows laptop
Too many bugs for a pro! I use my drone for business, I don't have time to mess with the bugs of the latest version of the app. I was on the phone for two days with tech support, they said they have not heard of any problems with the app! You can read all the reviews below that say otherwise! They agreed to exchange the drone and guess what... same thing! Clearly the bugs are in the app. Let's see how long it takes to fix them...

Whatever was done with the Video Stream API is not working like Version 1.5.1. Using a Samsung Galaxy 5S and GoPro hero 4 Black (firmware definitely up to date). Video stream was working great out to 3100' on stock antennas, now video locks up at 100' (goes black). I have been flying in same location everyday for the past two weeks - doing Autonomous surveys. This is very disappointing. Please fix the Video TX issue.
Great control app My favorite part is the "follow me" function, and ease of setting waypoints.
Great App So far working wonderfully. Did have to update to a newer tablet from my older Note 7 due to the wireless adapter not being advanced enough for the 3DR Solo connection; But thats not because of the app. They provide so much with their free maps that others make you pay for. And they work better then those 'make you pay' apps. Guess they know they have the Better drone!
Loving the newly added features Being able to switch from video to photo mode has now opened the doors to endless opportunities! Keep up the great with guys.
Favorite app The main app I use with my tablet. I love being able to check stats without landing!
Crashes frequently Crashes immediately when connected to a radio.

Latest Tower version does not work with the 3DR services. The Tower app says that the services must be updated but there is no update available.
Can't connect most of the time Using Tower, 19 times out of 20 I get "failed to connect". Samsung Note 4. Pixhawk.
Enabling Awesomeness Thanks 3DR, this layer makes it simple to "drive" almost anything. Looking forward to seeing this enabling new ways of connecting and controlling navigation.
3DR Awesome A superb development of the platform for hobbyists and professionals alike.
Great example of 3DR's commitment to its customers more and more features added makes tower as rich as mission planner and more usable.
Dissatisfied Would not connect to drone. What a let down.
