Edit Text box not working, it always comes up blank and no way to bring up keyboard to use it bUsing this with absolutely no issues on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I do have one request since I'm visually impaired I use voice notifications on my phone. When in a QSO it would be nice if the "EchoLink is logged in message was disabled. When transmitting I get my female voice saying "Notification from EchoLink, EchiLink is logged in"every few minutes and it gets transmitted through the mic.
Nice version for mobile. Very good app. An excellent balance of features and ease of use, for when you're not able to use the PC software. My only issue has been with having connection problems on busy conference servers, which requires restarting the app to resolve. I've been using it for several years and it's been a lot of fun.
I can't load it on my android. It says it's compatible, but also says it is already installed. Unfortunately I can't find the EchoLink ICON nor can I find it in my installed apps. Apparently there is a JAVA code error on the WEB site that if a load fails, it simply says it's already installed, you can't delete something that's not there so that it can be restarted. Help! OK, so here's an update, after contacting EchoLink support and trying multiple times, I was successful in downloading the software and now I'm a happy camper. Don't understand what changed, but this made me very happy.
Useless Downloaded it, set it up, failed with it, deleted it. Don't waste your time. Samsung Galaxy 4. Also useless on Droid RAZR running latest iteration of Android software. Clumsy interface with hopelessly complex menu of stations available. It is well worth the price paid.
Keeps re-starting It's nice that the headphone option was added. Still can't use node numbers (or even see them) with the app. I've read the instructions on how to close the app, but it keeps restarting over and over again until force closed or phone is re-booted.
Buggy app! All of these issues occur on multiple devices. App never really quits or exits. There is no quit or exit button or command, the app asks if you want to quit if you hit "back" enough. If you do quit the app randomly restarts later. When it does restart it messes up audio routing for instance on a phone call with headphones all of a sudden you will have your caller on speakerphone and everyone can hear them. Message on the screen will indicate something like echolink proxy connected or some crud. More...
