Rubbish Not intuitive. Lacks search facility against town / postcode. Lacks detail of the property. Much easier to use the webpage than this pitiful effort.
Doesn't work Map simply will not display. Just blank with grid and lots of flags where things might be
Map not working Like most other reviewers, I've been frustrated by the fact that the map doesn't display. What makes this worse is that there is no response from English Heritage about the problem, nor do they seen to want to fix it. At least the National Trust respond to problems and try to fix them. Rated as 2 stars as the information provided is quite good.
No any use. Using it on an HTC One. Or trying to. No maps are displayed - just a blank grid page with dots representing EH properties. When you select "Events" it only gives you events within 10, 20 or 50 miles of your current location - pretty useless if you live say, in Scotland and are planning a trip to Yorkshire. So, good idea for an App, but useless.
great addition for sight-seeing! Having recently joined EH This is a great app to plan our visits and take along with us. It works fine on galaxy note 2, no glitches as yet, intuative, easy to use. You can select locations near or far and it even gives you a route plan. An improvement we would like to see in future would be for plans/maps of the actual sites added for information & navigation. All in all very pleased with the app, thanks.
Mostly works on my PiPo m7. In list view only the right side of the screen scrolls. No one else has mentioned this so I presume it is unique to my tablet. when I go to a property page the prices, opening times etc. appear on a plain grey square which looks as if they ought to be icons. Maps however works just fine and finds my current location. The whole thing conveys an impression of being unfinished. Still I have the handbook.
Some minor fixes
