I love FamilySearch! It has enabled me to do much temple work. Still, I've been experiencing a lot of technical issues, like things not loading or not saving, or getting spammed notifications. The notifications say "Unable to edit memory. An unknown error occurred. Memory could not be edited." I get around seven of these throughout the day, even when I haven't opened the app! They've been coming for a few months, ever since the app crashed when I was trying to edit a memory. Please fix! <3

Thank you for the kind words about FamilySearch, and we're sorry you're experiencing these issues. We've shared this with our QA team to investigate. Hopefully, we can get this problem fixed quickly. Until we get a fix, you can clear the cache and storage for the tree app. Could you please email these details to fsandroiddeveloper@familysearch.org

this app is nearly impossible to navigate when you zoom in so you can see the profile names and try to drag to another part of a tree it opens up every single profile you barely touch the only way you can navigate to other parts of the tree is to zoom out but then you can't see the profile names this is very annoying I don't see why they can't fix this! Ancestry works just fine!

Thank you for this feedback! You've identified a real bug — zooming in makes it nearly impossible to pan without accidentally opening profiles. We've confirmed it and have it logged to fix. We appreciate your patience while we work on it.

It is more difficult to use. When I add it doesn't allow search for an existing record like it used to, now there are duplicates and merge is difficult to find. you can't just add a person's ID... even if you know that's the record. when I re-added my g-father under a different ID, huge branches were unlocked that my cousins worked on. there should be a better way to make sure there aren't dupes for better accuracy. I love how far back the branches go but doubt accuracy. descendant of Noah...

Thank you for your review. Adding living relatives such as a spouse, sibling, or parent using the id from their account fails because the id is restricted to the living person. You will need to manually add the living persons to your tree. If you have questions on this please contact us at fsandroiddeveloper@familysearch.org.
