Requires root access Unusable, as I'm not about to root my phone for this!
Good app Support for android 4.4. Not support version 5 lollipop.
Simply the best Works great for GPS
This fixed my GPS and saved me from reflashing! I recently installed Paranoid Android 4.4 (final build) on my Gnex and GPS was not working at all (would show 0/0 satellites, sometimes 1 or 2, but NEVER lock). Where as previously on PA-3.99 it was fine. After scouring the internet for the last two days and trying anything that didn't involve me wiping, reflashing, etc. this app single handedly saved me from doing any of the extreme measures. Using lovely root access (yay root!),this app allowed me to set my NTP to North America and then Canada. Now my GPS works perfectly! Thank you again so much!
Great app, but be sure to manually backup your gps.conf prior to use Due to a bug in the current software (see issue #35 on the github repo), the 'restore original gps.conf' option does not restore the gps.conf to its original state with an identical hash. This will cause the hash check assertion to fail when you attempt to install Android OTA updates.
modified gps.conf file prevents OTA update to 5.0 As stated in the description, this app modifies the gps.conf file in the system partition. However, when updating to 5.0 Lollipop the OTA fails because gps.conf has "unexpected contents". The option to revert to previous settings does not resolve the problem. It is very frustrating.
