Ratings and reviews

The app is solid. From account overview to scheduled transfers and day early direct deposit set up. Additional you can check Fico score as well. I think the only thing that may be a bit frustrating is that depending on what other banks you have, sending and receiving transfers could take days. Although that could just be a verification time line. All in all, it's a good app.

terrible app. Only works half the time. New update for mobile deposit has you sign in, then when you try to deposit a check, it has a line for the account number, and I can't access the line to enter my account number. Evidently, if I just logged into MY account, I want my money to go there. Its redundant and foolish.

I opened my first checking and savings accounts at Freedom CU when I was a young teen and I've always been happy with their services. Their mobile check deposit system makes $2500 immediately available, they offer a range of account types (money market, CD, etc,) and they've always had excellent customer service in my experience. The only thing I don't like about FCU is that their checking and savings interest rates aren't exactly amazing. Overall, though, I highly recommend them.
