Street Lens makes finding the best of what’s around you as simple and natural as looking down a street. Street Lens uses your mobile’s camera display to reveal the best shops, restaurants, and other points of interest, so you instantly see what’s in that direction. Simply tap a place’s icon to see more information, see photos, make a call to that place or just read reviews about that place.
Hold your mobile down and you will see all the places in Google Map view. Tilt again to portrait mode and you will see the list of places in list view along with the direction to each of those places.
No more asking others for the best cafe. No more looking for sign boards. With Street Lens, you see what’s around you from your point of view, so finding something great has never been more easy and fun.

If you want to just know about popular places nearby, then use the "Closeby" category to display all the places around you.
You can choose how close and how far you need the places to be shown. You can select distance from as close as 300 metres to as far as 5 kilometres. You can also chose how many places to be shown ranging from 20 upto 60. Make your camera your city lens and your street lens depending on the distance.
Summary circle in the camera view displays places around the user as dots. Tapping on the summary circle will display a bar using which you can control the distance of view.
Freeze Feature: Using the freeze feature, you can stop the movement of camera view and see the place items without any motions. Once you click play the camera view resumes to its usual mode.
The app is powered by Google APIs.

In February 2013, the Milan metro system is 82.5 km long (92 km according to ATM) and has 101 stations (85 underground). M2 reaches far out of the city to Gessate.
The present network comprises four lines, with a fifth under construction. While lines M1, M3 and M5 are completely underground, line M2 includes two surface branches at its eastern end and one surface branch at the southern end.

In 1972, the green line was extended from Cascina Gobba to Gorgonzola by incorporating the former interurban tram route to Vaprio d'Adda and Cassano d'Adda, which only a few years previously had been upgraded on a completely segregated route. After the completion of the southern Assago branch, trains normally operate between Cologno Nord and Assago Milanofiori Forum, and between Abbiategrasso and Gessate, with some trains terminating at Cascina Gobba.

In December 1999, an automatic shuttle line (POMA-OTIS) opened between Cascina Gobba station and the San Raffaele medical centre (682 m). Sometimes referred to as Metro San Raffaele, it is shown on maps in green like M2, but with a thinner line. An extra fare is charged on this line!

M3 is fully accessible for handicapped people. Along the central section of line M3, tunnels and platforms lie on two different levels on top of each other.

Line M5 (Linea lilla) runs north from Garibaldi F.S. (M2; Passante) via Zara (M3) to Bignami. Financing for the line was approved in Oct. 2004, and construction started in 2007. M5 is a driverless small profile metro line with technology from Ansaldo, similar to the Copenhagen Metro. Platforms are only 50 m long and equipped with platform screen doors. The entire line from Bignami to San Siro will be 12.6 Km and include 19 stations.
Milan boasts one of Europe's largest conventional tramway network, which is served by three generations of tram vehicles, the oldest dating from the 1920s.
On 15 Sept 2003, a subsurface stop called Arcimboldi/Ateneo Nuovo opened on Metrotramvia 7 (which started service in Dec 2002), located next to the tram tunnel under the railway tracks.

In fact, it will be sufficient to look through the screen of your smartphone to discover the names of the places intriguing you and determine the distance between you and them.
You will be able to take some pictures of your landscapes enriched with the names of near places, your position and your altitude at the moment of the picture, the compass orientation.
You will be able to share your pictures too.
The setting menu will allow you to set up each characteristic of the app.
It will be possible to set Panoramita search range through your smartphone volume keys and view the places starting from your position up to a 40Km maximum distance. As an alternative, it will be possible to specify the minimum distance from which starting the display of places through the setting menu.
