About this app

AgroTutor is an application designed for agricultural producers. It provides benchmarking data targeted to the location of your cropping plot. The data includes potential yield, historical costs, agricultural recommendations, weather forecasts and marketing prices. By using AgroTutor you can save your plots, delineate them over satellite imagery, as well as record the activities you perform on them, including agricultural and irrigation management, harvesting, post-harvesting and marketing. At the moment the full set of benchmarking data is available for Guanajuato, Mexico. The application is a pilot project of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT-Mexico) and has been developed by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA-Austria).
