Works! (On Chrome/Chromium not Firefox) It never misses a notification from my phone to my Chromium on Ubuntu. I've never heard a peep out of the Firefox extension though. Despite generating new codes, un-installing/re-installing the extension, resetting Firefox settings to default etc etc It's never worked. I use cell/mobile data connection via 3UK, and to my knowledge they don't block the ports needed by the Firefox extension. Hence 4 not the 5 stars this EXCELLENT app deserves.
Easy to set up and works very well. Now if only I could reply to messages, answer and make telephone calls from my PC through my mobile phone without requiring an external voip service, i.e. the app on the mobile will transcode a direct (p2p) voip connection from a pc to an incoming/outgoing call. That would be a killer app :) I also emailed the author regarding if the data is encrypted when transferred through their server. They emailed me back very quickly to confirm that data is encrypted by SSL between the server and clients. Keep up the good work!
Excellent My only suggestion would be: (On app side) have our apps appear in a list so we can choose which apps we want to send notifications through this app. Currently, the setup requires that a notification already be sent before the app will even show up in the list. By then, the notification will already be sent whether it's wanted or not. Also, the option to send persistent notifications as well. Also with some notifications it would be cool to only show the latest. Maybe an option for that? No more room here
Very Usefull Does a good job of putting my phones notifications on to my SIM less tablet. In particular I needed Whatapp notifications sent to the tablet which is does however the content of the notification is lost if there is more than one message. A single message and I can see the contents more than that I see a message count only making the app a bit less useful. Still a great tool however
Has always been 5 stars, however Please help..I've used this on android 5 with chrome on windows 7 but now I'm on windows 10 and android 6. I've set everything up but when I run the test I get nothing except a notification on the phone. Is it a compatibility issue with the version of chrome? Android 6? Or windows 10. Other than that amazing app
really good. can define which program can give notification and which detail. has lots of settings. and i dont miss anything. the only problem, notification comes to screen of all devices that you are logged in. but if something disturbs you can turn it of totally. and define the devices. i love the app. makes things easy a lot. especially at work , where is i dont like the others hear my ringtones and beeps
- Internal improvements (nothing exciting, sorry!)
