i edited my initial review after replaying because it was harsh. enjoyed book 1 for the story and overlooked the strange flow and dialogue. this one is better for syntax but the pace is too fast. you really need to replay multiple times to fill in plot holes from prior plays which is good and bad. the world expands a bit too much imo, with added elements of mysticism/magic which seem disjointed as they are never mentioned in book 1. overall it was enjoyable with good replay value.

The series was just one gut wrenching spine tingling thrill ride. Every choice every relationship throws you for a loop. As a writer i will say this story was unbelievable. As a gamer and lover of interactive fiction ive never expiercenced something that makes me feel so intensely. I would recommend both games and my money was well spent. And to the author, one of the best things i have ever read truely.

Excellent CYOA!! I just finished Doomsday 2 and was not disappointed at all! I liked the way it tied into the first one I really felt like I was a part of the story and that my choices really mattered And the characters were like meeting old friends again, or even old ememies :-) I really loved the Doomsday stories and was sad in a way to see them end, but I will be playing them again as they have great replay value with multiple endings. I really hope there is another one in the works!!
