The game never strayed too far from a generic medieval fantasy but I highly enjoyed it. It left just enough room to never feel railroaded by decisions even if only dealing with basic morality choices. I felt like my choices had an impact. I didn't expect much from a free text based game but this game succeeded in most areas. I was surprised with the open ended last act. Although I was slightly frustrated when I kept missing tourneys by a single day. All in all it brought back some of the excitement I felt reading medieval fantasy as a kid. Probably why I ended up being Mr. Goody Two Shoes through the whole thing. Couldn't bear being the evil prick, which is rare for me.
Great game. A book where you can influence the storyline. At first I was skeptical due to the occasional spelling and grammatical errors, but the storyline grips you after minutes. The ads are no problem providing little distraction as a small banner in the low portion of the screen. Throughout the several hours playing there was maybe 2 or 3 videos that popped up but were skip-able. I finished the game marrying the princess and winning the great tournament. Very chuffed...
The best interactive text game yet... ranks high with zombie exodus. I was losing faith in most of these as they were so short, rushed and made for money. But this story is not like that. This one is deep and well thought out. I only wish there was a bit more of an after story. So far it was great and spoilers* I married Hannah and became heir. I loved annoying the friend 😂 Congrats to whoever wrote this masterpiece.
I loved everything about the story and the clever way that you had an inventory and a map later in the game. It was quite challenging at times trying to make the correct decision and every bit as stressful and enjoyable as a great fantasy novel. Anyone who likes TV shows like Game of Thrones or games like Dungeons and Dragons we'll find a great home here. Many kudos to this talented author.
This is the first time playing this type of story and choice based game. I loved every minute of it, and encourage anyone to participate in the experience. It is nice to be able to read and make the decisions for the main character, as well as anticipate each decision with excitement like it would be if you were the squire himself. Fantastic job!!!
One of the best games I have ever played. I don't write reviews often but decided to write one because i downloaded the game and played for 7 hours straight. The only objection I have is your English. If you need any help with it, I would be more than happy to help. I'm not a native speaker (or reader hehe), but couldn't help noticing couple dozens spelling/grammar errors.
