I ended up downloading this game to give it a try. It had me hooked in 5 minutes. There's no game I've played like this before, but there aren't many games that come close to its level in general. Hope there will be a sequel and recommend this to anyone!
This was so close to getting 5 stars but there is one thing about this which lost that star. I feel that it was over too soon. I played this, hooked, for a few hours until It ended. I wish that you would make a much longer sequel. Please notice this review I loved this game so much while it lasted. Thanks ArpyFighter
This is the single greatest text rpg I've ever played. Hands down. The first time I played, I decided to play on hard, wondering how far I'd make it. I made it to the final battle, came within a few health of winning...and died. After getting over the pain of failing at the very end, I decided to play again. That was 4 playthroughs ago. 5/5 Malik ain't alive
Amazing concept and story. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters, choices and humour the whole way through. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the multiple grammatical errors and mistakes in sentences which personally distracted me from the otherwise fantastic novel. I look forward to reading 'The Great Tounament' again in the near future and choosing a completely different path from last time!
This game was incredible. I almost never write a review, but this game deserves all the praise it has received from numerous reviews. The storytelling is so well written that it sucks you in and makes you care about what's happening, and the characters. You really feel like you're there in a way A-list titles with fancy graphics have never achieved. A few typos are easily forgiven for such an engrossing story. To the author - please keep writing, you have a real gift for storytelling!
Good story so far. Spelling and grammatical mistakes are annoying as they pop up every page or two. I wish whoever wrote this did some proofreading, as seeing simple mistakes like those in a text based game takes me out of the story.
