Public transport timetable enables users to search for the most convenient connection between the required stops. It may be searched through by line number, route/direction or particular stops. Favorite lines, stops and timetables may be stored in a readily accessible clipboard (Planer). The application can be integrated with the public transport ticket-purchasing online service. It can be also easily used to get a taxi.
The application also contains descriptions and locations of a wide range of various venues and facilities: restaurants, bars, accommodation, shopping malls, fitness and leisure facilities, institutions of culture and entertainment and other attractions for the tourists visiting Torun as well as for its inhabitants. These places are grouped according to respective subjects: Copernicus, Torun gingerbread, the Gothic, attractions for children, etc. The position of each place can be found on the map and the application will indicate a convenient route to reach the selected destination on foot, by car, or by public transport. The ‘augmented reality’ function displays on the screen objects form the selected category which are within the scope of the photo camera. Users can also find short descriptions and maps of the most convenient sightseeing routes and a virtual sightseeing tour of the city with 360-degree panoramas (in online mode).
The application also features weather service, including weather forecasts prepared by meteorological station in Torun, with detailed up-to-date information on temperature, atmospheric air pressure, and wind. The system offers search engine of current events, event calendar, venues, places and timetables. It also offers social networking features such as: rate, share, check-in. The favorites places, venues, events and routes can be stored in a private clipboard (My plan).
The application is available in the offline mode. Some elements, including data updating, require Internet connection.
