I enjoy this app a lot but I think it has a lot basic functionality flaws and some poor design. My biggest issue is that the app is so ridiculously slow. It's so inconvenient and I'll be sitting there for 10 minutes just trying to get to one specific thing. The app functions like it's an abandoned amateur student project.

Extremely helpful identification, very good mapping and decent search feature. I recommend it to anyone and everyone to get them to appreciate and learn about nature. Good UI but very strange, could very much use a large menu button for seeing your favorited sightings; it's an odd choice to not have it included. The identification suggestion feature - the most important part for beginners - is kind of hidden.

Really love this app as an extension of the website! but there are a lot of features I wish were on it. For one, a "research grade" marker on my posts that are verified would be nice, because it's on everyone else's profile but your own. The app is also buggy and can be slow / crash doing basic tasks. I also see a lot of my posts duplicated on my profile, even though they aren't on the website. Clearing app data fixes this, but then it happens with new posts... besides that, the app is great!
