Often, quick ID! If the subject is obscure or unpopular, ID may be delayed or not at all. The system is mostly easy to use. Search by name needs a lot of the words to find things. Providing certain info helps. Clear pics of important features, a date, time, and location. Additional info about things like gender, if its alive, stage of life, etc., can be added after you have submitted your observation. I would like to know if BAMONA and iBird are worth doing too?

Edit: it has a hard time identifying emergent plants. It's a problem. One of my favorite apps - I call it my most important gardening tool. The more I use it, the more amazing it is. Readily identifies plants, both cultivated and wild. I've recently discovered it can do mushrooms and insects too. The AI behind this is impressive.

Used to love this app but it is now extremely laggy to the point that it is much quicker to just look up things on the iNaturalist website on your phone internet browser. Also the automatic sync has often uploaded things I have deliberately deleted the upload for, but if you turn it off it will barely upload anything at all. Unimpressed.
