With over 5000 lessons and educational games for kids, there is always more to learn in Khan Academy Kids. Kodi the Bear guides kids through interactive learning games. Kids can learn the alphabet with abc games and practice phonics with Ollo the Elephant. During story time, kids can learn to read and learn to write with Reya the Red Panda. Peck the Hummingbird teaches numbers, counting, and early math skills while Sandy the Dingo loves shapes, sorting, and memory puzzles. Their fun math games for kids are sure to spark a love of learning.

While kids practice reading skills, they can select Read To Me to have kids books read aloud. We have books for kids in both English and Spanish too.

We use this as a homeschool tool and it's great! I love the breakdown of the kiddos progress and the games they have are simple but my two special needs children get soooo excited for the bugs and bathtoys. I do wish there was a kind of placement test that personalized the learning path and gave the teacher suggested assignments to give.

As a teacher, I ADORE this app! My pre-k students use khan kids in our classroom every morning. It has great age-appropriate, interactive activities. You can assign lessons to different classes or individual students so everyone can learn at their own pace. They have math, reading writing, and logic skills, plus an amazing selection of fiction and non-fiction books. And it's FREE! Can't be beat!

Great app if it would stay open. The app has been closing randomly without the user closing it. Sometimes, it just won't stay open when you try to open it. I have to uninstall it, then restart the device, reinstall it, and repate those steps several times to try and get it to work. I'm not sure what's going on. This happens on all of my devices that have the app on lately. Edit:This app does work on my devices. However it still does not stay open. The app will randomly close.
