Perfectly working ,technically high quality, very good work .thanks for the effort. I have tested with many apps like this, I know that no apps can catch anymore signals than the device can do itself. I had the problem that my device is not changing from 2g,3g,4g automatically according to the network available. This app is perfectly doing that work, I need only to open Internet. This app is forcing my mobile to do so. the technology that implemented in this app is successful. I like to give six stars ,unfortunately there is only five.
This is an example of a well written app Never had an error. Supposed to have ads, but I don't recall seeing them (but then you don't spend much time in the app.) This is a convenient way for me to turn wifi off from the home screen1, very quickly. I am getting the premier version, but I want to support the author's continued development of the app.
Like it Does not say the connection speed in the app ! Need to go to the widget to see it..... Also no way to absolutely set a priority network to connect to ie 2.4 or 5 or whatever. Also no way to disable a network.. I tried another app which had all these features and it was great however didn't seem to switch networks automatically as well as this program . would be great to have the speed in the app rather thab just in the widget !
I've been using this app for years and it has been great. I would give 5 stars, but on my current phone, a Nexus 6P with Android 6.0.1, it will not save changed wifi passwords. We change our wifi password at work every 30 days. When I enter the password in this app it tell me that it's incorrect. I have to go into Android wifi settings and modify the connection before it will save properly.
Fails to show AP details for connected network Instead of showing the actual spectrum information for the currently connected SSID, just shows the details (signal and channel) for the current connection. Other base stations are ignored, sometimes even if not connected. Could really use BSSID (802.11 MAC) information, including manufacturer lookup via assigned IANA ranges. Doesn't seem to be able to show frequencies for the channel numbers, either. EDIT: Developer also ignores emails.
it appears like it has a bug. It works fine, turns off Wifi when not in use to save power, then will not turn Wifi back on. Manually attempting to restart shows no networks available. Must reboot to reconnect. PLONK!
Bug fix in "single tap network switch" widget.
Updated for Android 6.
Fixes and improvements in "best network switcher" for 5Ghz.
Enabled searching for "best network" even if the current network connection is good (in case there is a better one).
Added settings -> auto-scan on start.
New "Location" permission is necessary to get the list of scanned networks on Android 6. Your (user's) actual location is not interesting to me at all.
